​Our last meeting at Porter & Lukes was a great success and from the feedback I received everyone thought the food and service was excellent. 

Our Annual Fishing Rodeo on June 12h and 13th was a great success and if you couldn’t attend you missed a chance to “pass a good time”. Like last year there was no shortage of tall stories about the one that got away. Our Junior Angler’s event was a big hit and the kids had a great time. Again this year there were more prizes than kids to give to.

We had a good turnout and good weather and the new cover over the meeting area was a life saver.

Alvin did his usual great job of arranging and coordinating guides, boats, and sleeping accommodations.

We want to thank Alvin for taking care of all the gifts, as well as Dave Quintero for the drinks.  We also want to recognize the efforts of our cooking crews; both days with the food prep.  Also, a big shout-out to everyone who stayed to help pick up, and clean up.

Our next General Membership Meeting will be Thursday July 9, 2026 at “Zea’s Rotisserie & Bar”, 1325 W. Esplanade Ave, Kenner, LA.  Phone 504-468-7733.  Cash Bar starts at 5:30 pm, everyone must be seated by 6:30 pm for food orders to be taken.  The meeting will be called to order shortly after all food orders have been placed.
